Everywhere we look, there’s this demand for perfection - a polished surface, carefully edited images, and trend-driven sameness that erase individuality and silence authentic expression. I wanted to confront the pressure of a world obsessed with flawless aesthetics and curated identities.
In this piece, chaotic, rough textures resist control and order, reflecting the unpredictable reality beneath the surface. Over this raw, unsettled ground, luminous sprays of color don’t hide imperfections - they coexist with them, showing that beauty and creativity arise from embracing our flaws and complexity.
"Anything but Perfect" pushes back against the myth that perfection equals worth. It reveals the cost of conformity - the way it silences individuality and masks the real stories beneath the surface.
