"I'm Just Getting Started" was born during my 3-week-long social media hiatus — a rare moment of complete solitude. In that quiet space, free from external noise, I found myself diving deep into creation without the usual pressures of sharing, without the constant comparison. The piece reflects that internal shift, where everything felt like it was slowly beginning to flow again. It was during this time that The Halo collection began to take shape — not as a finished idea, but as something still finding its form, much like myself in that period of creative solitude.
Thick, liquid-like strokes spill across the canvas, each one a reminder of the messy, uncertain beginnings that come with self-discovery. The clash of bright blue and yellow, blending into the softness of the pink background, represents the internal battle between what’s already familiar and what’s yet to come. This is a moment of quiet growth, the first step toward something bigger — a halo still taking shape, still in the process of glowing from within.
