In this piece, I wanted to capture the experience of trying to express yourself and being met with silence or resistance. The rough, chaotic texture doesn’t just represent frustration - it looks like something is bubbling beneath the surface, as if that emotion is trying to break through. The spray paint shifts from light to dark, echoing how hope can fade into doubt when it feels like no one is really listening. "Talking to a Wall" speaks to the struggle of failed connection - both the internal tension and the silence on the other side.
