"The Tide Will Turn" is an exploration of texture and subtle light. The thick, almost liquid brushstrokes spill from the canvas, creating movement and energy. The textures feel alive, with a fluidity that seems to pulse through the piece — yet it’s grounded, rooted in layers that aren’t easily broken. I was struck by how the radiant layers I built emerged with a softness I hadn’t expected — a subtle halo effect that isn’t possessive, but gentle, it emerges softly from beneath the surface, as if change is happening under the stillness. The tide may turn, but it won’t be with force — it turns slowly, quietly, and the light within it guides the way forward.
